Rainbowlicious earrings

It's been incredibly hot the past few days, but it's been nice to be out doing things in the sunshine. We went to a mini strawberry festival which gave me some inspiration for summer designs.

Anywho, here are some rainbowy glass earrings, made with Czech glass beads:

I love the colours of these beads, and the Czech glass cut gives them such a nice sparkle.

I'm hoping to find somewhere local that sells a good range of coloured glass beads. As I've only recently moved, I'm still getting my bearings. I reckon the nearest may be Nottingham :P

Anyway, sleeptime for me, night! xx

Intro

If you're reading this, then hello there! :D

I'll start by introducing myself.

As the profile indicates, my name is Fiona. I'm 23, a piscean (and much like one) and I live in Lincoln in a wonderful little flat. I used to live in Wales (I moved last month, actually). Sometimes I miss it, but the boy I moved here for makes it all worth it :)

As you can imagine, moving gave me a blank canvas. And although I have a job here, I'm working part-time, which gives me the freedom to pursue my one true passion: jewellery making.

I love being able to take something undone and make it done, to get all excited about a charm bracelet I've made, and seeing others enjoying what I make.

My general jewellery taste is probably reflected in the pieces that I own. But I am such an awkward lady. When it comes to defining my taste, I love pearls, lace, roses and flowers. I love cakes, sweets and all things sugary. I love colours in rainbows and glass that sparkles. I love making pieces that illustrate those tastes.

And the reason for this blog? To tell others of my findings, and show what I've made, and to have a bit of fun :P
